In this book, Dan Crain vulnerably shares his own twenty-year journey of being lovingly confronted by people of color regarding his cultural blind spots. Through their wisdom and the guidance of the Holy Spirit, he discovered the joy and freedom of living God’s heart for a reconciled, culturally diverse church.

Christ over Culture is intended to help readers understand the depth and complexity of the issues dividing the church along racial and cultural lines, break free from the unhealthy aspects of majority culture Christianity, pursue justice and reconciliation for the marginalized, and experience the profound joy of a church united in Christ. This book is a clarion call for courageous self-examination and repentance, humbly listening to and learning from believers of other cultures, and boldly following the Holy Spirit into the “New Humanity” in Christ.
