Pastor Corey Widmer uses a story to review the past year in which we have studied The Greatest Story Ever Told, showing us that clearly as we are in the midst of the story, we cannot understand what is happening or what the next step will be. But we know the author and finisher of the story, and can trust Him to do it right. He used several illustrations in the sermon, including two pictures below. The first is a depiction of Bartimaeus, the blind man in Jericho who was healed by Jesus. The second is a picture entitled Transition painted by Curtis Newkirk who is studying art at VCU.
