"Brothers, what shall we do?"

Pastor Don Coleman gives a powerful sermon calling us to repent and receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. And the time closes with a song, "He Fights For Me", and a testimony.  Wonderful time! The video will be posted soon at http://tiny.cc/eefvideoDon ONE OF THE KEY TAKEAWAYS OF THESE FIRST FEW CHAPTERS OF ACTS IS TO KNOW THAT IT IS DESCRIPTIVE OF WHAT THE HOLY SPIRIT DID DURING THAT TIME.

Hebrews 13:8  Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. Acts 2:36-38 (ESV) Let all the house of Israel therefore know for certain that God has made him both Lord and Christ, this Jesus whom you crucified.”    Now when they heard this they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “Brothers, what shall we do?”

And Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.  For the promise is for you and for your children and for all who are far off, everyone whom the Lord our God calls to himself.”

ACTS 2:40-41 And with many other words he bore witness and continued to exhort them, saying, “Save yourselves from this crooked generation.”   So those who received his word were baptized, and there were added that day about three thousand souls. ACTS 2:42-47  And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.  And awe  came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were being done through the apostles.   And all who believed were together and had all things in common.   And they were selling their possessions and belongings and distributing the proceeds to all, as any had need.   And day by day ,attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts,  praising God and having favor with all the people. ACTS 2:47

Fights For Me

I will sing and the heavens will listen I will call on the Name of all names And my King will answer by fire And consume my enemies

Refrain For my God, He fights for me He is strong when I am weak I don’t have to move a muscle I don't worry about a thing For my God, He fights for me

I relied on the pow’r of my Savior And He rode on the wings of the wind And He gave me His shield of salvation And in Him I gain my strength

When I think of the goodness of Jesus And all that He’s done for me My soul cries out hallelujah Thank God for saving me
