What is a HOUSE CHURCH?

Most people at EEF are part of our "dual expression" of church: They come to the worship service on Sunday afternoons and they are part of a House Church.

House Churches are smaller groups of people (usually 15-20 people) who meet once a week, learning to put discipleship and mission at the center of their individual lives as a spiritual family together. The weekly times often include a meal, time in the Bible and prayer, worship, sharing testimonies and lots of time for fun and laughing. It’s also the place where people can find people who can intentionally disciple them. But more than one night a week, these are people looking to be a spiritual family and to do life together outside of just one night a week.

We have House Churches that meet on various nights of the week and are spread across the east end of Richmond. Each House Churches is led by trained, committed leaders who own the mission of East End Fellowship.

If you're new, this is the primary way to get involved in our church community.
